Skincare for an Active Lifestyle

 I love volleyball. It’s a sport that I’ve found to make being active fun. I think that is so key – finding something you love to stay fit. Because then you want to do it! I coach volleyball, play it, watch it — you name it! And with that, as you can imagine, comes a lot of sweating. Even coaching it, to be real guys. I’m not even playing, but I’m intense enough to be sweating!

Taking care of your skin with an active lifestyle is super important. It’s important to have products that work for an active lifestyle too. You can’t just wear any kind of lotion or makeup.

    As weird as this sounds, I stay active at my job. And I really love my job so I guess that counts? I spend my days running up and down stairs running around from assignment to assignment.

    I work at a desk all day so I make sure to get up at least twice for a walk around. I get up other times for other things but I make sure that I actually walk out of the office and around and up and down stairs twice during the day.

    Unfortunately, I have health issues that keep me from being as active as I used to be, but I do try to get outside for a walk every day, even if it’s just up the driveway to the mailbox. I love being outdoors and watching the seasons progress and change!

    I swim and do aerobics in the pool to stay active although I have Fibromyalgia. The water seems to soften the impact of any exercise.
