Cloe & Isabel Hair Accessories

You all know that I love hair. It is a fun way for me to be creative. Usually I am more creative when I am doing hair for weddings, but occasionally it’s fun to play around with my own hair as well!

Recently (and by recently, I mean this past summer), I was sent some of the new hair accessories from Chloe & Isabel. Chloe & Isabel is a jewelry company but they recently collaborated with celebrity hairstyles Jena Atkin to create these fun hair accessories. When Erin reached out and asked if I wanted to try them, I was initially reelected because I hadn’t seen the line yet. I didn’t want to not like it. But when I took a look at all the gorgeous options, I knew I had to try them out!

As you can see from the small preview, they’re so cute, aren’t they? And what I love is that they are also very practical. It’s not some monster clips that you’d never wear in your hair systems for hair loss. It’s pins and things that will actually add to your hairstyle.

My favorites from what I got were the big bobby pins because they pin so much and it’s fun to use bobby pins as an accessory sometimes and the pretty hair pins. I have used those in a French twist or at the end of a French braid.

Jena Atkin Bun cuff

This bun cuff is adorable. I would wear it a lot more if my hair was longer. As it is, I have a hard time creating a bun big enough to really utilize this beauty. It can be done, I just think it would look better with thicker hair.

It holds it’s own up there, but don’t you think it’d be so much prettier if my bun was bigger? Oh but HUGE plus – it doubles as a bracelet! You can put the cuff on your arm and put the pin part in your purse and you’ll have a cute bracelet and a way to wear your hair up in a pinch!

big hair pins

I love these because they can turn a very simple hairstyle into something a little fancier in no time. You don’t even have to do anything special with your hair, just a low messy bun with two pins on the side. It immediately adds something to your look without having to do much at all. They’re also  not just for looks, they can pin back a ton of hair.

I chose the white ones because I like the way they contrasted with my darker hair. But if you have light hair, they have black or even those gold/rose gold ones would be a great option!

hair pins

These little hair pins are so much fun! I love putting one at the end of a braid or using all three in a French twist. I have more often used them in a French twist because I think they add so much to such a simple hairstyle. They are also very sturdy and actually add to the hold of the twist or braid as opposed to always being worried they would fall out. And did I mention I think they’re so pretty?!

Those are the three items Erin sent me and as I am writing this I am planning out the other items I would like to purchase because they are all so beautiful! They do have some fabulous jewelry as well, but I naturally gravitate to the hair accessories!

So tell me, which would you choose & how would you wear them?

This was not a paid post, Erin just so kindly sent me a few items, but she did not require that I write about them. I am writing because I actually loved them all!!

My hair basically lives in a bun, so that bun clip is making me pretty excited. I think I need one!

Hi there, are these hair accessories available in Canada yet? I couldn’t find anything about international sales on the chloe and isabel website.

When you say you use at the end of a braid…how so? I prefer a braid over a bun, so I am always looking for new options. Thanks!!

Slip the pin section into the braid going down toward the ground and have the pretty part popping out on top. You might need a bobby pin to hold it in the braid, but worth a shot! 🙂
