Tips to Organize your Beauty Products

I have a confession. I am not an organized person. Yep, I said it.  I have a bunch of junk and I don’t know where to put it all. Then the junk overwhelms me and I just can’t make progress in finding a spot for it all. For all you organized people out there, this might be hard for you to understand. But quite frankly, you’re hard for me to understand!!

Organizing Beauty Products with Caboodles

what to use for organizing your beauty products

I wish I could look at a pile of stuff and be able to organize it quickly and effectively. I just can’t. It’s not a skill I have. Thankfully I have a sister-in-law who actually enjoys this sort of thing and most of the time, she’s who I call.

However, just the other day a Caboodle came in the mail for me. You remember Caboodles, right? The coveted container we all had in Junior High school? I had a purple and pink one and I decorated the outside. It was awesome.

Well, they’ve done a makeover and the new Caboodles are awesome. Check it out.

So chic and beautiful right? I am sure these are the ones you had in mind:

vintage Caboodle

Yep, that is pretty similar to what I think I had. I am happy that they’re making a comeback because this girl needs all the help she can get when it comes to organizing her things. I am working on organizing my closet, but beauty & hair products are starting to take up my life. They need to be contained!

The Caboodle Train Case called Lovestruck is absolutely perfect for me. I have a lot of little products because they’re samples from a Birchbox or just small makeup products. I don’t want to get rid of them, but they’re hard to organize! The Lovestruck has 6 compartments that close down into the Caboodle for keeping more product in less space.

Once all the compartments are pulled out there is still enough room on the bottom to keep some of my full size products like hairspray, lotion, body scrubs etc. Once all these products — which previously were packed randomly into two drawers — are in the Caboodle it can be closed down and stored under the sink. This way my husband is happy to get rid of all the clutter and I am happy to still have all my products handy!

Look at everything it’s holding! And it’s really not packed to the max, I could still fit some products in the bottom section. I am in love.

Another Caboodle product that I got to help keep the bathroom organized was the Caboodle Cosmetic Counter Tray. The Lovestruck train case is where I keep all the products that I like but don’t use everyday or even on a very regular basis. However, I do want to keep them because it’s fun to have options! The Caboodle Cosmetic Counter Tray is what I am going to keep out on the counter with the products that I use on a more regular basis.

It’s perfect. I am so happy about it all. Like I said, I’m not an organized person but with just these two products I was able to create space in my bathroom, clear the clutter and organize my products. I might not be good at organizing things but once they are organized and there is a place for everything, I can do a good job at keeping it that way.

Caboodles are now available at Target, Walmart and Ulta so you can grab one to organize your things. The two I showed you here can be found at Walmart. IF you’re a vintage type of gal, no worries! They still have the models of our youth! Grab a fun pink Caboodle for your daughter and create those memories all over again!
