Tips on how to feel the most confident

I’m excited to share with you a post today that’s all about staying confident. I am a firm believer that confidence is the most beautiful quality a woman can have. Even when you’re battling imperfections like a cold sore.  Some of my friends and family members have suffered through cold sores and I know it can take a toll on their confidence. They want it to heal and they want it to heal fast. Abreva® does just that. Abreva can heal your cold sore in as little as 2.5 days. I want you to know that I truly believe in all of these points. Read on for a few tips to be the most confident you. why you should feel confident

You’re not perfect.

And that’s okay! No one is perfect. We all have imperfections. Personally, I don’t like my ears and the way they stick out a little too much. I have big feet and they are not cute. These are not a few of my favorite things. But you know what? They’re okay. I have learned to accept these things as just a part of who I am, not something that defines who I am. I am beautiful. I am unique. I am more than my big feet and big ears!

Other people’s opinions do not define you.

People will always have something to say and unfortunately it’s not always kind. There are a couple ways to deal with this. First of all, analyze who is saying it. Is it a close family member or trusted friend? Is it someone who is bringing something to you in love & genuine thoughtfulness? If not, bye Felicia! If they are, you can take into consideration what they’re saying and whether or not you need to do anything about it. Second, it is important to analyze what people are saying. It doesn’t make negative comments right, but is there truth to them? If you can honestly answer no, move on honey. If you have to think about it, run it by a trusted friend who you know will tell the truth. If there is truth to them, see how you can make improvements to be better. All in all what people think or say about you absolutely does not define who you are. You get to make that choice. Live a life that no one has to question and be proud of it. You are the only one that can control you!

You’re no one else.

You are you. You’re not gonna get taller or funnier or smarter. I am not good at math. It’s just the way it is. It absolutely doesn’t make me stupid, it’s just not my strong suit. I am 6 feet tall. I will not be getting any shorter any time soon. And you know what? That’s okay. I can’t change it, so why would I spend my life pining over something that is pretty much set in stone? Instead I choose to embrace my height. I don’t let people’s “oh my gosh, you’re SO TALL” comments get to me because yes, I am tall. And I am happy to be so because that is the way my God made me and I’m cool with that.

Imperfections are okay.

We all get zits. No one has perfect skin. We all have to deal with the imperfections that are life. And yes, they are a bummer, but they’re also okay. Eat healthy, exercise, get sleep, take care of yourself, do your part, that’s all you can do. I know that my mom used to get cold sores quite a bit and they were painful and not so pretty. What a bummer?! What can you do about it, hide in the house till they’re gone? No. Instead use Abreva®, you can knock out your cold sore, in as a little as 2.5 days when used at the first sign* and keep living life! I know that social media has kind of made us feel like those imperfections only happen to us normal people. When you scroll through Instagram, no one is posting pictures of ugliness. And that’s fine, pretty pictures are fun too, but just don’t get caught up thinking that you’re not good enough because you do get sores or zits or whatever. Instead, be human! Be okay with your humanness! We need more people portraying humanness so we all can feel like we’re in this crazy thing called life together.   Abreva® wants to know what gives you confidence?
