My RocksBox Review

A couple months ago I got this awesome little box in the mail. It’s called Rocksbox and it’s so much fun. (You can try Rocksbox for one month free by using this code: natalialsimmonsxoxo) What is Rocksbox, you might ask? Well, it’s a subscription service, like so many things now-a-days, but for jewelry. Except there’s a little twist – you don’t keep the jewelry. You are actually renting the jewelry and when you’re done with it and you’d like to receive a new couple items, you send it back.

I got to give it a try and I thought I’d share with you guys!

My Rocksbox

It’s a pretty little box, isn’t it? Inside contains 3 different pieces that were picked just for me (because I filled out an online profile with what I like and don’t like) that I get to try! I’m a sucker for happy mail and surprises, so this was a fun one for me.

Cute, right? They know my name and everything! 😉 Jewelry is one thing for me I have a hard time buying. I know I need it but if I’m gonna spend money, I think I need to spend it on clothes, you know? So rarely buy jewelry but I love to receive it as gifts! *hint hint wink wink*

Here is what I got in my Rocksbox this time around.

what was in my Rocksbox

Now let’s get to it. This necklace = true love. I love, love, love it. It’s everything I’ve been looking for in a necklace! I know, I am sounding rather dramatic over a necklace, but hey it’s true. I love that it’s really simple and chic, and it can go with pretty much anything. It easily adds so much to any outfit.

Now if you find something in your box that you just can’t live without – like me and this necklace – you can actually purchase it. The price is a little steep – $50 for the necklace, but it’s so versatile and I wear it all the time. I still haven’t decided whether or not I’m going to keep it. Is it really worth $50?

The second item was a pretty ring. It’s got a pearl on one side and a type of arrow on the other that don’t completely connect. Honestly I could go either way with. I thought it was cute and fun to have but I didn’t like it enough to spend any kind of money on it. So I guess it’s good it’s a rental box! It was fun to wear while I had it though!

Then lastly but not least — well, actually, it was least — the earrings. I just didn’t like them at all. They are not my style and didn’t seem like really great quality. I didn’t wear them at all.

Personally I think the Rocksbox is really fun and I would do it again. Like I said, I like jewelry, I just ever spend money on it. If someone’s sending it to my house it’s a lot easier to do, you know? I think I am gonna keep the necklace, I talked myself into it by doing this post, and send back the other two. Let’s see what I get in my next box!

Like i mentioned at the beginning of this post, you can try your first Rocksbox for free by using the code natalialsimmonsxoxo! Give it a try or give it as a gift to a friend for the holidays!
