It seems like fall is everyone’s favorite season. I mean, I get it. In most places around the world, the weather finally cools down, the leaves start changing and you start to get breaks from the summer heat. We break out the jeans and sweaters that have been in hibernation all summer and it’s lovely. Maybe even go out and grab a hot pumpkin spice latte if we’re feeling a little crazy. And I love it! I love how some good, simple practical fashion can empower women. Does that seem a little dramatic? Maybe, but hear me out. When you go to an interview and you really want the job, how do you dress? You wear your best outfit, am I right? Why? Because it makes you feel amazing. Like if you had a questions whether or not you deserved that job, with this outfit you know you deserve it! I’m not trying to say that fashion is everything – confidence definitely comes from within, not your outfit. But I can most certainly say that it plays a big role! I know personally when I take care of myself, dress nice and put-together, I feel like I can take on the world. When I stay in sweats, it just feels like more of a lazy day. That is why I love JCPenney. They create good, cute fashion that is practical and reasonable. Their price points are always good and that makes it so I can add a few pieces to my wardrobe every season without breaking the bank! I was out at JCPenney to pick up a few pieces for fall and I scored!
Seven pieces, including a moto jacket & jeans, all for under $200! I also just recently discovered the brand Stylus. You guys, it’s great! Everything is cute and stylish and with a great price point. I’ve always loved Bisou Bisou, Nicole Miller, and ANA but now Stylus is one of my favorites! This moto jacket is to.die.for. It was the biggest purchase I made but I still had enough for the leggings, another pair of jeans, and four tops. Pretty good, right? And this jacket is probably the most comfortable jacket I’ve maybe ever worn. I’m in love. It definitely will keep me warm without being too heavy which is perfect for our ‘California winters.’ I know that people say there is a rule about wearing leggings out and about. And most of the time I agree with that rule. No one wants to see your undies peeking through your yoga pants, it’s just not cute. But when the leggings are thick, almost like jeans, but more comfortable, then I really think it’s okay. These leggings I got from JCPenney are Stylus and are very thick. I don’t have to worry about them being see-through and they have a seam down the front so I think it helps make them a little more than just leggings. Not to mention they have a nice big band at the top and they’re so comfy! I feel like I raked in. That’s what I love about JCPenney. They encourage updating your wardrobe by adding bits and pieces seasonally that don’t break the bank. They don’t encourage a whole new wardrobe and their pieces aren’t ridiculously priced. Here are a few of the other pieces I picked up.
Not picked are the MNG by Mango top because I couldn’t find it online and another striped sleeveless top that was on sale and I couldn’t find that one either. But when you think about it, I was able to buy that jacket and a bunch of other pieces. I call that a win! Here’s the MNG by Mango top paired with my leather accented leggings I bought at JCPenney last year. If you need inspiration, JCPenney has a lookbook where they are showcasing the latest fall trends! JCPenney can provide the fashionable and stylish pieces that you need to look and feel great. It’s empowering really, to feel so great about yourself and what you wear. Go get it, ladies!
