Yep, you might have noticed that things have been kinda quiet around here. Sorry about that! Turns out I’m not the best planner and I didn’t bring a computer on vacation which for a blogger might not be the best idea. But if you love to enjoy life and take breaks every once in a while, I’m sure you understand!
I’m sitting in the Budapest airport (after missing our first flight and shelling out $250 more per person to get back to France) reflecting on my trip. Eastern Europe – wow. I’m impressed.
The travel bug is a weird thing. It’s like the more you do it, the more you’re addicted. And I’m addicted. I’m already planning the next vacation. So many countries to see and places to go, how will I ever fit it in?
I do miss my family though. Thankfully, the next trip (Barcelona in December!) with my family.
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve enjoyed viewing a bit of my trip as well. And with all the beauty and history and architecture it makes me never want to go back to the states. Not because the states isn’t amazing, but because that’s ‘normal’ to me. And if you’ve been reading for any amount of time, you know that I don’t do normal very well. It scares me.
So tell me, how do you add adventure into you lives? How to you combat the normal? I know when we live in the states eventually we won’t be able to travel as much as we do here. Maybe I’ll just buy a chateau to fix up and stay over here. Then there’s a tiny issue of having the money to buy said chateau…
Anyway, since I’m writing this from my iPad I don’t have any pictures to upload yet, but I’ll be sharing some soon, promise!! In the meantime you can check out my Instagram to see some shots. Back to normal programming soon!
