I couldn’t leave you hanging because part two of my Stitch Fix vacay was absolutely amazing. We got to go to where it all goes down, the Hizzy. It’s a huge warehouse south of San Francisco where they receive all the shipments of clothes, organize them and then all your clothes are picked and packaged. It’s was overwhelming and amazing!
We started the morning with the Stitch Fix ladies bringing us breakfast. They really went above and beyond to take care of us! Then we headed out to the Hizzy!
See what I mean? That’s a lot of clothes!! We learned about the process of how they choose your items, how the choose them off the racks, and how they eventually get into your box.
Us with our trusted tour guide for the morning, it was great. He was so sweet and kinda taking us around, introducing us to everyone putting people on the spot, it was great!
Here we are learning from another employee. He let each employee talk about what they do and why it’s important. It helped us get a better idea of how the company worked starting at the warehouse. It still blows my mind how it all goes down!!

Listening intently! He was full of a ton of great info & was fun to be around. What I really loved about Stitch Fix here at the Hizzy and at the offices was that they encouraged creativity. He told us that if people in the warehouse have an idea on how to do things, they can present the idea and they will try it out. If it works, great! They’ll keep it. If not, they just resort back to before. I think it’s awesome to give employees that kind of freedom.
Boss lady & man of the Hizzy.
Then we got to package a box ourselves. They give us a slip and we had to head through the warehouse to find the items & get them all together. We started with the jewelry.
We each raced through the aisles trying to find what we needed and be under time. Here’s Molly just killing it out there!
Here’s the clothes I packaged. Don’t they look good? My career in retail could have just taken off, I know it.
They the boxes get packaged in the box, put on the conveyor belt here and processed. I don’t know how many boxes they process a day, but it’s a lot I tell ya. A lot!
Before we left the Hizzy to get our hair done and do a photo shoot, we all gathered for a picture amongst all these clothes! What a lovely, sweet group of girls! The photographer suggested a photo of us jumping. Ya, that would be fun!
I titled this picture “just a little too much, Natalia.” I must have been excited… If only I could jump all proper like Veronika, look at her dainty little leap. So cute. Then there’s me. Just… WOW.
okay, now it’s time for the photo shooooooot!! So fun!
First we got our hair done at the Blow Dry bar which I had never done before. It was nice to have someone else do your hair. I hate blow drying my hair and rarely do it nicely, so this was a nice break!
I do look a tad bit tired, but you know, I did fly in from Paris, so I think I’m excused from looking my best, right? Thanks.
We got to dress up in Stitch Fix clothes and then do a few group shots with confetti! Because seriously, confetti makes everything better, doesn’t it? I think so.
Because we’re cool like that. Me and Kilee.
Loved this one of Jen jumping. Now that’s how it’s supposed to be done!! I should take some notes.
This one is also called “Why I shouldn’t ever model”
And now for some fun confetti shots!!
And because Molly is absolutely hilarious and had us cracking up the whole time, I had to create this gif. I think this sums up our trip!
