Maybe a couple times a year we shop for clothes for our boys. I am not the mom to see something cute and buy it. I married a Bahamian. We wait for deals and then swoop up all we can with those deals. A little bit ago JCPenney was having a big sale. I happened to pop online for something else, I can’t remember what, and somehow I came to the little boys t-shirts. I let them each pick a few and then showed my husband. He saw the deals and told me to buy a bunch more!
It was the perfect back to school shopping for the boys. We got 27 items for $184. It was awesome. It was a mix between graphic tees which my boys love because they’re cool, regular tees that I love because they go with everything, and even a pair of shorts, jeans, and two pairs of shoes! I was so proud of myself for finding such great deals.
So I did a back to school photo shoot with my boys. My boys, well, they’re special. They have more energy than I know what to do with and they’re constantly playing, fighting or wrestling. These kids… Let’s start with the good ones.
We got Eli a few Arizona polos and I think he looks so handsome in them! I love when he wears polos like this, he is such a cutie. We got grey, a few solid colors and this blue which is perfect because it matches the shoes we got him too! They’re Arizona as well, only $17.99 and they come in 3 colors – grey, blue, & black. Eli can slip them on himself which is a total win. We got the navy because they go with a lot of the clothes we got him.
Here’s Tae catching a stick. It took quite a few shots to get the perfect catch. “Mom, watch this!” and then it’d drop. “Wait, now watch.” Drop. “Okay now, watch! Mom!!” Finally he caught it and I got it on camera! Boys are so funny.
He’s wearing a striped tee on sale for $6.99, also Arizona. I guess that was a favorite brand! Actually, for real, it was. It’s a great price & I love the material and fit of all of it. My husband is super good at picking clothes that go with what we already have and building a wardrobe for the boys using what we’ve got. The shoes were bought in France and the shirt went pretty great with them. Sold!
The t-shirt Tae is wearing here is another Arizona shirt. We stocked up on these because they were $6.99 each and they’re just in solid colors. It’s so easy to put them with a ton of stuff and they always work. This is also Tae’s cool guy pose? What can I say? He’s a pretty cool guy. Gosh, he is his father’s son.
And then there’s this guy. He’s such a funny little dude. He’s rough and tumble and whines a ton all at the same time. He drives me crazy and steals my heart everyday. He also thinks that his older brother is the coolest thing ever. I was trying to get him to act natural instead of a very posed picture, which is tough to do with my kids for some reason. But then Tae started acting silly and it was a lot easier. I got this laugh!
I am in LOVE with our back to school outfit choices. The boys got a ton that can be worn a bunch of different ways and I’m so happy. Not to mention, they were psyched too! I might even head back and grab some more for them.
