Nail Art with Jamberry Nails!

I love having pretty nails. Ideally I would have my nails painted a pretty color all the time. But life isn’t always rainbows and fairy tales, there’s actually crazy boys running around and dishes to be done.

I had just about given up on my dream to have perfect nails all the time. But then, one day, sitting at my computer I received an e-mail. Lovely Elizabeth asking if I wanted to try the product. I thought, heck why not? It would be fun to try something new.

She sent me a few cute styles and I got to it. I thought I’d share with you how it’s done. It might seem overwhleming, but really it’s simple. You don’t need any special tools. I think it takes more time than actually painting them but if you factor in drying time then the Jamberrys are actually faster. That had to be my favorite part. You put them on and BAM you’re done. No waiting for them to dry and smudging them in the process. Which is what inevitably always happens to me. You can check out her site here.

How to apply your Jamberry Nails.

how to apply Jamberry Nails I watched a YouTube video on how it’s done which you can find here.

  • Start by cleaning your nail thoroughly.
  • Choose a size that best matches your nail. It’s better to go smaller than larger.
  • Cut the nail in half (the other half is used for the other hand)
  • Hold under heat for a couple second.
  • Apply to nail and make sure ALL the air bubbles are out.
  • Sit back and enjoy your super cute nails you didn’t have to labor over!

I can’t wait to try the other styles. They lasted through painting & scrubbing the floors and doing dishes. Definitely a lot better than regular polish. It’s not as easy to change whenever you want, but you have pretty nails longer. And you have designs that (well, for me at least) I would never be able to do on my own. And when I paint my nails, inevitably my right hand is always messed up.

So why Jamberry? You guys know I only post about things I like that interest me. I get pitched all the time about items that aren’t interesting to me or even if they are and I know they wouldn’t be to you guys, I won’t post about it. This is not paid, I just thought this was a fun way for us ladies to feel pretty without a ton of effort and thought you might want to hear about it too.

You can grab one sheet of nail wraps cost $15 and these can be used 2-4x each sheet (Jam Juniors can be used 5-6x!). Also, sheets are buy 3 get 1 free so you can stock up.

If you’re interested in the business side of things, Elizabeth House is my rep and I know she’d love to talk to you about it. I think these types of things are super cool. Giving moms a chance to work from home to help support their family. This could be you! You can find Elizabeth’s email here (top of the page).

Now, just because we’re both sure you’ll love it, Elizabeth has been so kind as to offer one reader 2 half sheets of Jamberry Nails! This is basically two manicures and pedicures! It’s super easy to enter, just use the rafflecopter below! Good Luck!

I’ve been curious about how Jamberry nails work for awhile now, so cute! I always have my hands in dishwater, chasing my toddler or cooking so I’ve pretty much given up on nail polish…love this idea!

    • Natalia April 13, 2014 at 6:55 am #

I would love to hear how they work for you. They’ve been great for me and Elizabeth (the lady who sent them to me) said that even if they start to come off you can reheat them and push them back and on they should be good for a little while longer! I’m gonna try that this time.

    • Elizabeth April 13, 2014 at 10:45 am #

You can totally do it even with hands in dishwater and chasing toddlers:) In fact, these are perfect for that since most of us who are consultants are stay at home moms, so we know they work!!…that’s how I got sucked in!!! 🙂 Let me know if you want some samples to try if you don’t end up winning the raffle:) elizabethhouse2@gmail.com

I love the Jamberry Nails concept! I think they are perfect for vacations too, so you don’t have to worry about a manicure being ruined! I am not a fan of the gel manicures so this is the perfect option. I love the orchid set – stripes, polka dots, and florals. My daughter is a dancer and would love the Broadway nails and the Easter bunnies. Thanks for this fun give away. If I do win, please know that I will be away from my computer for a few days of rest with my family when you announce. I will return to blogging after Easter(: And from yesterday’s post – I agree that American children should be learning a second language starting in Pre-K. Why are we the only country that does not do that?! Blessings! susan

    • Natalia April 13, 2014 at 6:54 am #

I never thought that if you didn’t like the gel manicures this would be perfect, you’re right! Have fun on your vacation and I will definitely wait to notify you if you win & I don’t hear back right away.

It is a shame about American schools, isn’t it? I really think they should start earlier!

    • Elizabeth April 13, 2014 at 10:47 am #

Susan! These are perfect for vacation:) I just got back from a week at the beach (with the sand “exfoliating” my toes and hands), and they still lasted! I hope you win the raffle but if not, I will be more than happy to send some samples! Just let me know:) elizabethhouse2@gmail.com

I’ve recently discovered Jamberry! I love them!!! My favorite patterns right now are Raspberry Sparkle, Birds of a Feather and Metallic Crackle. Thanks for the giveaway, Natalia! 🙂

    • Natalia April 13, 2014 at 6:52 am #

Of course! glad to hear you like them, good luck on the giveaway!

    • Elizabeth April 13, 2014 at 10:48 am #

      Aren’t they awesome?? I’m obsessed!!!

  5. Niki April 11, 2014 at 8:52 am #

You make it look so easy! The application process was a nightmare for me, even though I followed the instructions to a T! Oh well! Practice makes perfect I guess! I love the stickers you got!

    • Natalia April 13, 2014 at 6:52 am #

I was so worried too, after I read your post! But it wasn’t too hard. I did the second set by myself (my mom kinda helped me with the first set) and it was a bit more challenging, but I did it! They’re still on so we’ll see how long they last!

    • Elizabeth April 13, 2014 at 10:50 am #

There is definitely a learning curve:) The first 2x I had no clue what I was doing, but by the 3rd I had it down pat! Now it only takes me 15 minutes for a whole set…BOOM! 🙂

  6. Wanda April 11, 2014 at 4:16 pm #

I live them all! But my fave was the silver floral on magenta. How beautiful! Thanks for sharing this info. I’d seen posts about jamberry but didn’t actually know what it was. Doesn’t seem too difficult and such pretty results!

    • Natalia April 13, 2014 at 6:51 am #

I didn’t think it was difficult. Probably takes the same amount of time as painting your nails but you don’t have to wait for them to dry, so that’s nice! I’ve enjoyed them!

    • Elizabeth April 13, 2014 at 10:49 am #

They are easier than they look…promise! There is a *bit* of a learning curve, but not much. The first time I used them, lets just say it took me a looongg time, but now I can do an entire set in 15 minutes flat! I say the first 2x you use them you are learning, but by 3rd time, you are a pro! Let me know if you need any samples if you don’t win the raffle:) elizabethhouse2@gmail.com

I love my jams. I have the newspaper print which I love and the Aztec print. They are super fun as an accent nail with solid polish too!

  15. Deanna April 15, 2014 at 1:57 pm #

I would love these for my daughters. All three love mani/pedis but won’t sit still long enough to dry so the redos are endless. These would be a perfect solution 🙂

    • Natalia April 17, 2014 at 2:59 am #

Yes, it would be! And you can pick out some super fun styles, I’m sure they’d love it!

    • Elizabeth April 22, 2014 at 6:42 pm #

It truly would be!! If you give me your email I can send you pics of manis/pedis on little girls as young as 2! Also, if you want any samples, just send me a quick email at elizabethhouse2@gmail.com
