COVET Fashion

This is a sponsored post by COVET Fashion but the obsessions, opinions and $33,000 fake closet are all mine!

So I’m back from Paris and back to reality. So.sad. There’s really no place like Paris, it’s such a  beautiful romantic city. And I took a lot of great pictures and I can’t wait to share them! More on that soon.

But for now I have something super fun for you. Something that’s been occupying a lot of my time lately. 🙂 So let me start by saying I don’t play on my phone that much. I’m not even on Twitter or Facebook that much. There’s just no app that draws me in and keeps my attention. Until lately.

Covet Fashion App. They contacted me to give a little review and I was a little worried. I mean, I don’t like to play on my phone. But once I downloaded it, I knew I would be hooked. So today I thought I would explain it a bit to you!

So what is Covet? COVET Fashion allows you to shop and style models with real brands (such as Cynthia Rowley, Fallon, and BCBG), enter fashion challenges, gain followers, and buy the exact pieces from your looks. You control the process every step of the way beginning with choosing your model’s features to picking out the perfect accessories. COVET is a brand new platform for you to express your personal style all the while being

So let me give you a little rundown. First you start by buying a few accessories and you have a little allowance. You use the clothes you have to create looks.

The picture to the left is a challenge you can enter. They give you a few guidelines and then you go off and create your look. To the right is me creating that look. You can choose from what you have in your closet or you can go the the shop and buy with your COVET money. You get extra points if you wear clothes that are in season or clothes that you haven’t worn yet. You can earn COVET money through referrals via Facebook and entering contests.

It takes tickets to enter contests, anywhere from 10 to 25. You can earn tickets by voting on looks.

To the left is my account, you can see my closet worth (I wish that was really my closet) and my style score. You can also see how you navigate the app a bit. You can see that there is a section that says “Vote on Looks” right in the middle on the left. When you click this you come to the picture on the right. Two different styles for the same challenge. You go through and choose your favorites and get 2 tickets each time you vote. This way you can enter more challenges!

Then you can shop. Who doesn’t like shopping? Well, plenty of people I’m sure, but you can do this in your PJs and not spend a dime of your own real money!

As you can see, you can use the filter, choose different styles, colors, categories to find what you’re looking for. You can shop for a challenge or just shop to have new things in your closet. You can actually buy these exact items in real life too! They’re a little out of my price range, but still it’s fun to know they could be in your real closet at any time.

Here’s a peek at my closet. I’ve had a little help from my friends at COVET with a little extra cash. (Thanks guys!) Your closet value can also go up when you win items. So the more you win, the more you get in your closet and the more money you will have to spend!

I know it can still be a little confusing as I show pictures and write to explain so I made a little video for you guys! I try to explain how I play it and what you can do with it. Hopefully it helps explain and gets you excited about it too!

Honestly, you guys, I really really love this app. I play it a ton. In fact it’s the only app I play. I love waking up in the morning and having notifications to see if I won the latest challenge or not! Except when I lose, that’s a bummer…

If you want to download it you can check it out here. It’s free from the app store so you can also just grab it on your phone too! It’s super fun and helps you be creative with what you’ve got!

Happy Monday!

Sounds kinda fun. My daughter has a game where you dress up the girls…they give you an event and you dress them for that event and then they rate it.

Looks like we can both play fashion games now. 😉

Yes! It really is a lot of fun. And addicting. Like I said, I never play apps on my phone, but this one is so fun! It’s always fun to spend money that’s not real!

I love Covet Fashion. Just like you, I don’t play a bunch of games. However, when I saw my niece playing it, I had to get it. It really does get you hooked.

It does! I love entering events and I even love voting on looks! It’s fun to see what people put together. Also fun to see if you win the prizes!

Why there is no cash option in any items when i go to shop? I can only buy with diamonds. 😑

I’m sorry I have no idea! Maybe that’d be a question for the developers!
