So Chicago. I was telling you about Chicago.
I was writing that post and it just kept going and going I realized I needed to make it into a two-fer. I left off after my Friday morning panel.
After my panel I stopped by the Monster Products booth and tried on these amazing headphones. The big flower on top is an attachment to the headphones, isn’t that cool? They also had one with a big fascinator, so cute. They hooked me up wish some hot black ones which I in turn gifted to my husband for our anniversary. I’m such a good wife!
That afternoon I had the honor to be among a group of about 15 bloggers to meet Sheryl Sandberg personally. It was amazing. She is so inspirational! She talks a lot about how to help women achieve their professional and personal goals by “leaning into their ambitions”. The way she spoke with such passion and enthusiasm with a true desire to help and encourage women to pursue their dreams. I felt truly honored to meet her & be among these women.
Later that afternoon, I met up with Christina from Hair Romance. You probably already know & love her and she’s equally (if not more) amazing in person. Super super sweet and so fun to talk to! We’ve got some fabulousness up our sleeves!
Later that night we had the fashion show sponsored by ULTA Beauty which was absolutely fabulous! These women who walked the cat walk were stunning. None of them were professional models, but they worked that run way like they had been doing it for years! They were amazing! Since I was working with ULTA I got to be at the fashion show and live tweet throughout. Loved it! Here’s me doing my job!
The host of the show was none other than Wendy McClendon-Covey, from Bridesmaids. She was hilarious! Just as funny in person. I shared my BeautyLOL with her, pretty much embarrass myself on television. It was great…
And to sum it up, it was amazing. Seriously, so much fun. I met some amazing people, had some amazing conversations, and some awesome opportunities. Already got me thinking about what conference I want to go to next!
Although I still need more time to recoup from this one. Here’s me the morning after. And this is without alcohol…
Have a great weekend!
