Did you know that I travel a lot? I don’t really think about it too much because it’s just such a big part of my life, but we travel a lot. I am writing this in The Bahamas but you’ll be reading it while I’m in Chicago. I live part of the year in France and love to get around while I’m there!
So when I’m traveling, it’s my time to read. I just bought a 600 page biography on the wives of Henry the 8th because I am that kind of nerd. But have you ever tried carrying a monster of a book like that through out airports? That’s a more lay-by-the-pool type of book than a tote-everywhere type of book.
To be honest, when I’m traveling, I love me some magazines. I love to mostly read about mindless things like who wore what, current fashions, or some yummy recipes to try at home. These are what I would love to fill my airport & plane time with. But, like my 600 page biography, who wants to carry around a million magazines?
Thankfully I have found a solution! Have you heard of Next Issue? It offers unlimited access to all of your favorite magazines, including current and back issues. So no toting around old magazines and no waste when you’re done with an issue. You have access to more than 90 titles from top publishers including Condé Nast, Hearst, Meredith, and TIME Inc.
Of course, one of my favorites:
Are you hooked yet? With one tap you have access to all the issues in that category! Then just tap the issue you want and voila! You’re reading that magazine.
Another favorite — oh my goodness, does that look delicious?! I really love Real Simple magazine, so cool to have all the issues right there on your iPad!
So basically it’s like going through the airport with 90 magazines but you’re only carrying the weight of one iPad. And it’s easy to navigate. You can thumb through it page by page or jump to certain articles. Very cool.
Also very cool? You can download your favorite magazines for offline reading anywhere, like the airplane that doesn’t have WiFi. You can also set up automatic download for titles on your always-read list so they’re guaranteed to be ready when you are.
