Spotted!- Jennifer Lawrence Casual Maxi

Oh I just love Jennifer Lawrence. I love that she is not stick thin, I love her personality, and I love almost everything she wears. Her style translates so easily to my own wardrobe and I find myself mimicking her looks often. The following look I saw a few months ago and without even realizing it, I tucked it away in the back of my mind. A few months later when I was getting dressed I was feeling lazy. I wanted to be comfy and keep cool, but I was going out with one of my girlfriends and I still wanted to be cute! Then I remembered Jennifer Lawrence looking fabulous in an ensemble that is a comfy as sweats and a tshirt. And that’s how I came up with this: Jennifer Lawrence Spotted Look

I love the maxi skirt/maxi dress look, but I’m so short I always end up looking like I’ve been swallowed by fabric – help! 🙂

Ok I really think the key is to make sure the skirt is not too long, which is really difficult when you are short. So you might have to hem it. It should hit so that it barely grazes the tops of your feet/bottoms of your ankles. Also right now the natural waist is so in so that can help bring the hemline up just a touch. I have also found that you shorties are too hard on yourselves 😉 it probably doesn’t look nearly as bad as you feel it does!!

    Looks fabulous!

I’m going to add this to my list of ways to wear a maxi skirt. Last week I set out to find more ways to wear mine and I came up with 5. Yeah!
