Well, it’s officially April. No, I’m not slow, it’s just that time flies, doesn’t it?!
I don’t know about you, but I feel like April ushers in a season. Yes, spring, but more than that. It ushers in wedding/shower season. How many of you are already filling up your weekends with baby showers, wedding showers, engagement parties, & even weddings! It’s a fun, albeit expensive, season, but so joyous to celebrate with those you love.
So today I thought it would be fun to showcase one hairstyle that is easily done with three different outfits. This way you can rock the same hairstyle to a baby shower and then again to an actual wedding. Oh and it takes like 5 minutes to complete, promise.
Isn’t it pretty? It works on many lengths as well. Mine is short, but you’ll see in the video that Judy has long hair & it still looks gorgeous. Before I get to the outfits – check out the video how to. It’s definitely one you want to add to you ‘know how’ list! Oh and at the end you can answer a quick question for a chance to win some money honey!
I’m assuming you watched the video (& entered the sweepstakes!) isn’t it easy? So pretty, so simple, my kind of hairstyle. I know sometimes hairstyles can seem kind of intimidating, but this easy twist and pin is perfect for any level of hair styling abilities.
Here’s the three outfits I’m showcasing this hairstyle with:
The Garden Party Shower
This H&M jumper is a husband favorite and the hair is perfect with it! Since the jumper has a lot going on, it’s nice to have your hair up but still styled pretty. This look is perfect for a bridal/baby shower.
Just because you’re attending a day-time wedding doesn’t mean you can’t wear your hair nice! Here I paired the hairstyle with a pretty floral dress and it’s perfect for a day time or informal wedding. I actually think they go well together, the hairstyle & dress, don’t you? Very regal, I think.
Part of the reason I like attending evening weddings is because you get to dress up and do your hair different than you might have otherwise. This dress is one of 2 cocktail dresses I own. *Hangs head in shame* What can I say, I just don’t go out that much! But it comes in handy when I have those nice evens to go to. Like twice a year. I just rotate dresses.
Here’s another close up of the hair. So pretty, right?! Make sure you get a chance to watch the video, you definitely won’t be sorry. It may look intricate, but seriously, so easy!
So what do you think? Do you think you could do this updo? Where would you wear this hairstyle?
I am sure you all have some other great ideas, I want to hear them!
