Fine Hair Friendly- Hippie Twists

Sometimes pinterest drives me crazy. I have fine, thin hair and it is pretty short! So all those amazing poofy, thick fabulous tutorials out there don’t quite turn out well(in fact I don’t even bother).

So I am starting a new series. In fact, it’s not really a series, it is an “expectation” you should have of me. Any and every hair tutorial you see coming from me will be “Fine Hair Friendly” and for awhile it will also be “Short Hair Friendly” since my hair is currently a bit shorter than shoulder length. Ladies with long hair or thick hair will certainly find styles that will work for them as well. But let it be known that if you see any tutorials from me Christie Jean, and you have fine or thin hair, you can safely give it a shot!

So let’s start with something super simple.

I love this look! It’s fresh, it’s versatile and  it’s practical! I love any look that can get my bangs out of my face without looking too severe. This look is still soft and feminine because you are leaving the majority of the front down. This is the perfect spring/summer hairstyle. I have put together an easy to follow picture tutorial, but for more details and specifics watch the you tube tutorial below!

Hey Readers! I am blogging over at A Beautiful Window now and would love for you to follow along. Find me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest! <3<3 xoxo Christie

This is great! I’m excited to try it! I do have that thick gross nasty courseness that you describe and I wish I had hair like yours sometimes! The only time my hair is ever braided is when we visit my boyfriend’s family and his little sisters go to town. I looks good, and if I do it when my hairs wet, then it looks super beachy awesome once its dry. Thanks for the tutorial!

I love this idea but since I am so not hair-sophisticated, I’m having trouble with putting the bobby-pin in! It’d be nice if your video showed that better (just a suggestion for the future). Can you tell me exactly how to attach the bobby pin? Thanks!

ok! I will make it more clear for next time 🙂 Thank you for the suggestion!
