Copy Cat Closet ~ Animal Print

Have you ever noticed how the way that you dress really can affect the way you feel for the day? Like when you stay in your sweats all day and then have to run an errand and that’s like the hardest errand in the world to run?

Well, that is one of the main reasons we do this fashion link up every Wednesday. We want to encourage and inspire women to create different outfits mostly with what they have. Get out of those jammies & start looking fab!

So each week I (or an awesome guest) send out a challenge of sorts to an e-mail list. Then the follow Wednesday we come back here or The Grant Life to link up our beautiful outfit posts. I want to be clear, although we love to see you guys take on the challenge, you most certainly can link up any type of fashion outfit post!

If you’d like to be on that e-mail list, you can sign up here:

Onto the challenge:

Animal Prints!

I looooove my leopard scarf and shoes. The scarf is from Zara (here’s a similar one for $15!) and the shoes are from Payless (here’s some similar ones from Target).

Above are some of my favorite fashion bloggers wearing leopard. Love it! Here are some pointers I gave in the e-mail to help you create your outfit. Really the options are endless and you can have so much fun with this one!

– For the bold you can rock it as a skirt or trench or coat. I love the leopard pencil skirt above, so pretty & bold! Syndey from The Daybook talks about wearing animal print as a neutral.
– You can definitely chose to use just a pop of animal print. My scarf & shoes are a personal favorite. They’re simple and subtle yet add a big punch to an outfit.
– Still not sure? Try a leopard clutch and keep the rest of your outfit simple. It will pop and make a statement for sure!

So let’s see what you got! Link up your fashion post below and visit a few others. Be inspired, that’s the whole point of this whole thing! Oh and if you don’t have a blog, you can still link up a picture! We still want to see your outfits! Here is a post on how to link up a picture.

Happy Wednesday!

I really love this outfit! Leo prints are so versatile. While years ago animal prints often have been considered as ladylike and elegant (or cheap if not worn and combined adequately!) there are so many different and stylish ways of wearing them now.
I have added my version “Leopard Love”.

Hi ! Natalia Love the leopard print scarf. I think I might purchase the one you suggested. Do you have any idea where I could find a cute fitted black blazer for an afordable price? you know the kind of blazer that is not bulky and still goes great with jeans or skirts. I love blazers and scarfs together.

I love that idea! You know what, I would suggest H&M – I love their clothes and a lot of times they have blazers in all kinds of colors, actually. Also maybe New York and Company. I haven’t shopped there in a while but I remember them having that type of clothing. The one I have and love I bought a while ago from K-Mart believe it or not! Good luck!

I wasn’t able to participate this week but you definitely challenged me and now I get to try something a step out of my comfort zone! Thanks Natalia! 🙂
