Fashion at the Oscars & Target Giveaway!

It’s Oscars season, ya’ll!

And of course you know what that means, pretty dresses!

Ya, ya we’re celebrating movies & art and this and that, but isn’t it just so fun to look at everyone get dressed up? To gawk at the beauties and maybe poke a little fun at the misses. “I mean really, what was she thinking? That is not her color.”

Since the Oscars are this weekend — this weekend you guys! — I thought we’d take a little walk down memory lane with some of my favorite Oscars dresses.

And let me tell you, I can’t wait to run to Target when it’s over and grab the PEOPLE Magazine 2013 Oscars Double Issue. It’s gonna have all the goods, the hits & the misses, the who wore who, the who went with who, the accessories, the gossip. Ahh it’s my favorite.

Here’s who I’m looking forward to seeing on the red carpet & when PEOPLE Magazine hits newsstands March 1st!

Michelle Williams

I think she’s always stylish. I mean, is there anything about this ensemble that you don’t like? The color of yellow is just so beautiful and elegant, it looks particularly amazing on her. The shape of the dress is very flattering but doesn’t show too much. Her hair is simple & beautiful and her lipstick color is what puts it all together. The lip color+dress color=WIN.

Anne Hathaway

She’s come a long way from her Princess Diary days, hasn’t she? With the big bushy eye brows and frizzy hair. Now look at her! This dress was at a premier of Rachel Gets Married and I just think she looks so elegant. In my opinion most of her looks are very elegant and beautiful. She takes chances and is a little different, but not too crazy. And this year with all the Les Mis buzz, I am sure she is going to dress to impress.

Emma Stone

I love Emma Stone. Not really my favorite actress, but as far as fashion & elegance goes, she’s high on the list for me. I feel like she stays current, takes chances, and always looks beautiful. Even if it’s a look I wouldn’t wear, I still think she pulls it off well. This dress is just fantastic. I mean, look at the back! It’s totally classy, very simple, but very beautiful. I just love everything about this look right down to her hair & makeup. I cannot wait to see what she’s going to be wearing.

So as you probably know, PEOPLE Magazine is like the end all when it comes to celebrity style, gossip, and hot tips. Personally, I like to buy for the style editions and the hot tips.
