I have good pictures for Copy Cat Closet this week!
Remember how I went to Paris because Paris is always a good idea? Well wouldn’t you believe it, I wore stripes!
I found this Old Navy sweater dress when I was doing *eh-um* “research” for this post, and it was not a mistake. It’s comfortable and versatile. It looks a little dressier while still feeling like you are in your pjs. That’s my kind of outfit.
I grabbed these pics in front of Notre Dame Cathedral. Pretty amazing & beautiful.
I had curled my hair that morning but to no avail. It was a hot mess after just finding our way to the hotel. Oh well, that’s why I love cute pony tail ideas.
I was dying to show Stacy Shakespeare and Company because it’s an amazing little book store & it’s where I get all my English books while living in France. Well it was closed.
*gasp*
However there was a little sign on the door that directed us to another little hole in the wall bookstore. Literally. Don’t believe me? Check this out:
Ceiling to floor. We could barely turn around in there. But there was coffee available! It’s owned by a lovely Canadian-American man who’s been there for 20 years or so and because I always go to Shakespeare and Company. Well, now I have a new place. And they serve coffee. So there, S&Co. (just kidding, I’ll come back, I love you!)
Okay so if you’re on our e-mail list you saw the amazing Kelley’s inspiration. This is her go-to outfit and ladies – we all should have one! I think she looks adorable and only wish I could pull this off. (It’s freeeeeeezing here.)
Oh and if you want to be a part of the cool club and get weekly challenge e-mails sign up here:
Now it’s time for you to WOW us! Show us your amazing style. Link up and and every outfit post! Of course we’d love to see how you rocked the stripes, but we love to be inspired in general, so hit us with your best shot! Fire away!
I don’t know where that came from, why don’t you just show us your cute outfits? Ya, that’s better.
Link ‘em up here or at Kelley’s and visit some others! No real rules except to be inspired! And that’s the law folks!

You look lovely, like the combination with the colour tights, but stripes…not my thing! When wearing them can’t stop thinking that I look like a French sailor or that I’m in Venice on a “gondola”. Have a question for you: how would you wear a long thick whoolie cardigan? Got one recently and I just love it, keeps me warm and is so “rustic” and cosy that I would live on it if I could, but I don’t want to look like a granny, usually i wear with leggins/jeggins and high boots, any other idea? Thanks!!!
I love the outfit you said, but you could also try it with a pencil skirt & booties maybe cinched with a belt. Or a maxi the same kind of way. Skinnies and low lace up booties would be cute too. Sounds like an amazing piece, makes me want one!
Totally recommend you to get one!! Mine is from Ireland, hand-made, 100% whool and soooooooooo warm…I’m in love with it as you sure can see.
Oh man, I am gonna be on the hunt for one now!
Yes, yes, stripes, cute….BUT. The bookstores. The BOOKSTORES. I’m so jealous.
SERIOUSLY! Probably one of my most favorite things about Paris!
Super cute look! I love the way that you spiced it up with those colored tights!

Thanks! I had fun with it. And it’s super comfy!
I love your outfit! Those yellow leggings (tights?) and the stripes = beautiful!
Thanks! They are tights, I think from Target? Ya, they’re from Target.
