I don’t know if you heard, but this year’s color of the year, chosen by Pantone, is Emerald Green! I am actually pretty excited about this color. It’s different, it’s vibrant, it’s beautiful. I really can’t wait to start wearing it.
Since I am in the process of building up my wardrobe after having kids, I don’t have a lot to work with. In fact, I don’t think I own anything emerald! We’ll just have to fix that, now won’t we!

I would like to say I have a personal favorite, but honestly, they’re all beautiful! But it does show that there are a number of different ways you can wear emerald. The dresses are very Taylor Swift-y & fun, the jeans are a must have. Even some emerald green boots? Yes, please!
I love the statement necklace and ring at the top there, so pretty. I also love the nails. It’s a fun way to add a pop of this popular color without over doing it.
So what do you think? Is this emerald green a color you wear a lot or you never tried it. Are you going to try it now that it’s been named ‘Color of the Year?’

Sorry I haven’t commented in ages! I had a baby 2 mints ago and am still working on being a new mom! I am so behind on computer things…I don’t know how you pros do it with more than one child!
I LOVE this years color. I am having to build back a whole new wardrobe postpartum since my body kind of went from girl to woman so I am looking forward to shopping soon! I’m hoping to find some cute staples in this color. 
Oh my gosh, I can totally understand the getting back to normal after baby! My babies are 5 and 2 and I’m still working on it! And yes, isn’t this color beautiful?? I can’t wait to find some pieces in it!

I only recently found out Pantone named this colour as the choice of the year. Thinking about my last few purchases, they are mostly this gorgeous green. My Seafolly bikini is the perfect shade of emerald. – the joys of an Australian summer.
I have yet to purchase anything in this color yet, but it’s beautiful!! I can’t wait to find something!
