Holiday Makeup- Gold & Plum

Let’s step out of the box a little bit more, shall we? I have already eased you in to colored liner with my Sultry Silver Eye. So now we are ready for something just a touch more experimental…Purple. I love plum eye makeup. I would actually go so far as to say it looks good on all eye colors and skin tones. For this holiday look I paired my favorite shades of plum and gold shadow with a bright purple liquid liner. It has “We Three Kings” written all over it

And don’t let the colors make you feel like you have to match your outfit to your makeup! Seriously this will work with whatever you are wearing.

So here is a step by step of how I create this look. And yes the purple is very metallic in the tutorial, but it does not look that shiny in natural light.

You could use the purple liner on the lower lash or you could apply a black power to the waterline with a brush. In the step by step I used the purple but in the photos below I used black powder. So you decide!
