Rope Braided Buns

Happy Friday everyone!

I am in a wedding today, so I am going to be missing in action online. It should be a fun one though, can’ wait to show you some pictures from it!

But for today I have another hair tutorial for you, continuing the 12 days of holiday hairstyles. This one is a very easy double rope braid. You have seen it before in this outfit post, but now I have a tutorial to go with it!

Double Rope Braid

Oh and in case you missed it, here are the other tutorials from this week:

I hope you like it! It really is easy. I feel like this is something that you can wear everyday or out because it isĀ versatile. So it fits in the ‘holiday hairstyle’ category! It also is nice that your hair is out of your face and it looks nice! Oh and it also fits into the less than 10 minute category which is always nice!

So here is the tutorial for the hairstyle. You can also subscribe to my YouTube Channel to see more tutorials! Thanks for watching – hope you like it!

I love your blog and your tutorials! This one is beautiful. I tried it out tonight for a dinner party and the top section looked good, but I could not get the detached rope braid section to stop unwrapping! I used small elastics to secure both of them before pinning them, but they still unwrapped quite a bit. Any tips or suggestions? Thank you!

In the video I showed how I did it, I actually clipped my hair to my shirt so that it wouldn’t unravel while I did the other side. If you could find something so attach it to while you do the other side, then it won’t loose. Hope that helps!

Oh my goodness this blog is incredible! I just discovered it looking for something to do for New Year’s (tomorrow, so I felt pressed for time!). I had no idea such an easy braid could make such a beautiful ‘do. Thanks so much for lending a hand! I feel fully prepared for an elegant evening tomorrow!
