Date Night Shorts

Guys, I have a husband!  He’s here in the flesh and helps with the kids and we can chat in real life and actually go on dates!!  I could hardly remember how to date him, I mean it’s been so long!  I got all nervous and started stuttering… just kidding!  But since he is here in the flesh, we are taking every opportunity to hang out as a family and him and I alone when we can as well.  And it’s been wonderful!

On Friday we had planned a date night, but had watched two other little boys along with mine (and survived!) all day long and didn’t end up getting home and ready to go until later than I thought.  So when my husband saw me putting my big Cannon T2i in my purse he said “wait, what’s that for?”  Well, for outfit pictures of course!  I wouldn’t be a very good blogger if I didn’t take outfit pictures.

Immediately, he rolled his eyes and was a bit annoyed at me.  But my mom grabbed the camera and said “go!” and was going to snap a few.  Here’s what happened:

Major photo bomber!  Hubs can be a big dork and would kill me if he saw these pictures up here.  In fact, if you return to this post int he future, they might be missing, if I get in trouble!

At least we snapped a good one.

Now on to the important things, my outfit!  These shorts are old and I never wear them because they are a color of cream that is really hard to match.  I put on this also really old shirt which is tight and sometimes I feel too skimpy in it, but I threw a scarf over it and felt a little better.

I know the shorts probably look super short, but they’re normal, trust me.  I am just really tall, so it looks like I am showing a lot of leg. I got in trouble for this all the time in high school!

Shirt: old // Shorts: Bebe (also old) // Scarf: Zara // Earrings & Shoes: Payless // Sunglasses: Target

I am trying to be more creative with where I take my outfit pictures.  I was looking back at some old ones, when I was living in France, and they are in places like Nice, Eze, Stockholm, or Switzerland.  Then there’s the boring spot in front of my house…  So here is the Thousand Oaks mall for ya!  Super exciting, I know!

That’s all I have for you today! Hope all is well in all of your worlds and have a great Monday!
