Guys, I am almost done…. Less than 4 weeks to go and I am really, REALLY exhausted. I just want to curl up in a ball (until I remember that I am not comfortable in that position) and sleep away the next few weeks. But life continues, my kids are still normal kids, and my husband still has to work. So I pray in the morning that God will give me an extra dose of grace for the day and I get dressed, put on some makeup and survive….one day at a time. I think it goes without saying that I am having a more difficult time being creative with my non- maternity clothes at this stage in the game. But I am still committed to my challenge! 🙂 So today I have put together a couple different looks with the same long stretchy top. It is actually a Tunic but it is too short on my belly to be considered one right now 🙂
For the first look I needed something a little bit nicer and I have not worn this skirt since early in my second trimester. It worked just fine pulled up over my baby bump and tightened with a belt. I liked the colors together once I had it on and I felt pretty cute!
For the second look I needed something super comfy. My husband and I are a part of a kids band at our church and every sunday night in July we do a mini concert for the youth. I have to be able to sing, dance and act goofy so that was my main concern. These jeans still fit since they button under my belly and since the top is nice a long I didn’t have to worry about my belly peeking out!
Hope you all have an awesome week! XOXO- Christie
