Styling A White Tank

I am living in long tank tops right now. Target has the best, stretchiest, longest tank tops and I have a bunch. They are certainly very casual and I wouldn’t necessarily use them for a dressy occasion. But for now, they are all I got! So I am working my white tank dressy and casual. So for today’s post I want to show you how a simple white tank (or wife beater etc) can be transformed to look sophisticated in the right outfit.

At 35 weeks pregnant, my dressy stuff is my casual stuff and my casual stuff is my dressy stuff. I am reworking everything a million times to try to make things feel fresh. So this is my way of dressing up my tank a lil’ bit. This is a great look for when you want to look a little more dressed up but not too fancy schmancy (If heels were an option for me, it would have kicked up the dressy factor) Anyways, I wore this outfit to church and felt like it worked. Of course I added my cropped cardigan! You know how I love my cropped accessory pieces right now! And I felt like this outfit was just screaming for me to put on my elephant necklace πŸ™‚ What do you think?

See what I mean about being an awesome tank top! I am long torsoed to begin with and then adding my baby bulge to the mix it is really hard to find shirts that are long enough! (that are not maternity of course).

Outfit Details- Tank: Mossimo @ Target, Cardigan: Kohl’s (Old), Slacks: Anthropologie, Necklace: Gift.

And you can check out a couple other ways I wore this same white tank top in my Fourth of July post and my Shorts Two Ways post. Tune in tomorrow for our “Getting Ready in…” post! I will talk more about my hair and makeup πŸ™‚ XOXO- Christie

Love those tank tops from Target! You’re right, they are super casual, but you can definitely dress them up. I’m pretty sure I have one of them in every color. I go every summer and buy new ones and the summer they don’t make them anymore I’ll be so sad!

Oh my goodness. Every time I see a new outfit post, I come over here and am amazed at how wonderful you look! I’m only 23 weeks pregnant and you look 10x better than I feel LOL! πŸ™‚ I have been enjoying my long tanks too.. I only have them in basic colors right now like black and white, I need to get some in fun colors like pink! πŸ™‚
