Well your lovely comments on Monday’s Simple DIY summer skirt post have been so lovely, thank you!! I am so glad that a lot of your that I’ve heard from are encouraged to try new projects and get creative, how fun!
So today I thought it would be perfect to show you a few ways you can style a summer skirt. I am show casing the one I made on Monday, but I am sure any cute summer skirt would work.
Flirty and Fun
This is the way you saw a little preview of it on Monday. And yes, also the reason I didn’t have my head in the post… haha. One of you commented that you’d like to see my head as well, so here it is! I wore this outfit to church on Sunday but it would be perfect for so many occasions. I love pairing a black and white skirt with a fun, bright color. It adds some more summer to it. I might be rockin’ this again in the future.
Fancy yet lovely
I also love this style! Same skirt, but a totally different look, right? I paired it with a fancier shirt that I’ve had forever, booties instead of open toes for a more classy feel and my hair in a sleeked back top knot. I kept the belt black and the shirt a little lacey to add a little sexy feel and also great to keep cool. Perfect for a summer night out!
Cute and Casual
This one is really simple, but also adds a different feel. The red earrings and belt and a fun, funky flair. Same open toed wedges as before which keep it casual as well as a very casual top. I switched the top knot to a more funky version, you can’t really tell in these pictures, but it’s got a poof and a teased the bun part a little more. There you have it!
Oh and it twirls just perfectly… just thought you should know! 🙂
Well, what did you think? Did you like the looks I put together? Any suggestions for me? Because I am always shopping my closet and looking for new looks, so let’s hear them!
Thanks for reading and have a super great Independence Day!!
