WOOOHOOO!!! It’s finally here! I know you have all been patiently waiting for out next project restyle reveal and here it is! I hope Tammi will encourage you that no matter what stage of life you are in you can still be absolutely fabulous! As I said in my earlier post today Tammi just needed some help looking at her closet with new eyes. Like most of us, she struggled with creating new outfits with what she already had. So let’s get started!
In the first 3 looks gave Tammi a deep side sweep of her bangs and smoothed out the ends with a larger curling iron. She has amazing hair to begin with and she just needed some added inspiration.
Fun & Sassy!
Here we have Tammi in a shirt that she never felt totally comfortable in. She felt like it emphasized all the wrong places. So we added a long camisole underneath so she she bunch the top in a more flattering way instead of pulling it tight. This has a slimming effect on her upper body. Paired with skinny jeans instead of flares and heels instead of flats the whole look is more cohesive and sassy! She is one hot mama! (Who’s mom is that anyways!?)
Here we show Tammi in a denim skirt that she loves wearing but she always pairs it with solid colors with very little dimension. I wanted to give her a nice summery look so we put it on with a camisole and a bright, flowy vest (or something like that) and voila! All ready for summer and I just love the orange color on her.
I just LOVE this look! This dress is the perfect base for a dozen different ideas! She has always worn this dress as is, with a sash and black heels. It has a semi formal feel about it due to the black and white color scheme. So we took off the sash and added a beautuful orange cardigan to make the look more casual. The belt at her waist was important in order to keep the lines of the dress. Her figure is just beautiful in this dress, accentuating her beautiful curves. The shoes just put the whole thing over the top! I just love that she has a pair of orange shoes in her closes just screaming to be worn!
This dress that is just so so great. It is a great color (by the way, I am just now noticing how much orange Tammi has in her closet!) and it is a super flattering cut, the material is comfy and it is super versatile. As you can see Tammi has been wearing it with a long sleeve top underneath it, and boots. But it’s summer now and I wanted her to have some fun with it! I Loved the boots with this dress, so we kept them but added some awesome lace tights. We could have put any brown belt around her waist but I instantly fell in love with this fringy one once we put it on. I just love how carefree and beautiful she looks in this ensemble!
This is the skirt that Tammi has never felt comfortable in. The color is strange, and the length is a little off. Black actually looked the best with this color of khaki and when I found this lovely lightweight, black and white blouse in her closet I knew instantly it would work. The top untucked would have made the skirt look frumpy so we pulled the skirt up to her natural waistline, tucked the blouse in and cinched her waist with a stretchy black belt. Instead of cutting her legs off with boots we elongated them with some high heel booties and the black tights just pull it all together. Man, is she gorgeous or what!?
Ok, now you can go ahead and scream what you have been wanting to scream this whole time ……”THAT HAS TO BE NATALIA’S MOM!!!” Am I right? You were just dying to ask (or maybe it was so obvious you didn’t even need to ask!) You can see where Natalia gets her stunning good looks!
Now let’s just talk a little about hair and makeup. I wanted to give Tammi one new hairstyle that she could do easily, but that would also transform her look instantly. I thought her bone structure would look just stunning with her hair pulled all the way up and she was excited to try it. So we went with a high top knot and straight across bangs. UGH! I was right….absolutely stunning! Tammi does not wear much makeup and she always looks beautiful but I felt a few touched would really brighten up her look. First of all, a little eyeliner in a slight wing at the corners of her lids really lifted up eyes (A slight wing is extremely age defying since it gives the illusion that your eyes have not been pulled down by gravity) Some bronzer in the right can also help create a lift where gravity has pulled down. And finally an nice plum lip to enhance her beautiful smile. I will be honest when I say it took very little effort to achieve this look on Tammi. I hope I look as beautiful as her when I have grandkids!
